OH I am so glad that other folks use water too!! I was advised to use a squirt gun or spray bottle,(by a professional dog trainer) and have used it with success! But when giving out the advice to other folks, I was worried someone would think I was abusing my baby. I feel vindicated not only because it works, but because others use this method too!

Yes, I would advise you to use a hose, (if you can fix it with a variable nozzle to make it spray a further distance) and when your baby is too noisy, say loudly "HUSH" and spray the distance as soon as baby 'Hushes', then stop spraying and say" GOOD boy or girl "

Takes a few times, but be persistent It will work. I would just do it for nuisance barking, you want them to bark at adult strangers Mine would bark when the grill was out of place
