The only real way to treat properly is to grow out a fungal culture - which takes 10-14 days; could be ringworm -- if it is, you may want to do 6-8 wks of oral diflucan. I'd reallllly get a culture though, bc otherwise how do you know what you're doing is effective against whatever bug/fungus this is, ya know?
