My Tina was spayed when she was 6 1/2 months old. I asked my vet to use Isoflurane on her (one of my friends advised me to ask the vet to use Isoflurane on Tina) and she (the vet) told me she always used Isoflurane on yorkies. It is more expensive but it is very safe. I was also told by my vet that yorkies might have their tracheas collapsed if intubated because their tracheas are tiny. |
