I wouldn't say better, but almost certainly EASIER, lol. There are quite a bit of amazing breeders who live far away, and people fly out there to pick up their pups. But you would probably have an easier time if you searched for reputable breeders in your area. You'd be able to visit them before making a decision, etc etc.
