I just feel bad after I say things like that to her. I really don't like to speak that way to ANYONE. Just sometimes when I get angry or really frustrated it just slides right out of my mouth.

I just don't understand the rudeness and tactlessness.

She acted like it was perfectly OK to ask that about my mom, but if I had asked the same thing about Mike's sister or some other member of HER family she would have been oh so offended and I'd never hear the end of it.
