I think you need to start them young. Ben and Sadie would just pull each other's bow out, so I stopped trying. Now, with just Ben, I tried and he just shook and rubbed til he got it off. He seems determined not to have a bow.
I always love the look of a show-ready Yorkie with a nice red bow in their topknot.
