Welcome to YT and the world of Yorkie mother-hood! It's the greatest ever! They really are such a joy to have around. When you first bring them home it can seem a little over whelming with them being so small and new mother wants to do everything just right. It really helps to read alot and with all the info. you'll figure out what works best for you in your house. What food was your puppy on when you got him? If you switch around becareful because switching foods suddenly can really cause problems in their little digestive systems. If your going to switch make sure you mix the new with the old and gradually take the old one out. Everyone here has different opinions on foods and great suggestions. Some dogs have problems with foods other dogs do great with. Just depends on what works for you and yours. Roxie was on Royal Canine puppy when I got her and I just always kept her on it because she had no tummy troubles with it. As she got older I put her on the Royal Canine for Yorkies. I thought about switching a few times just to be different but after getting some advice here I decided not to. She has never had any tummy problems since I got her, no runny poo, no smelly poo and very regular. If something works why break it? There is lots of really good info. here so just enjoy reading and you'll find what works best for you.
