I agree. When I first got Genghis he drooled in the car which is right before vomit, but after getting him a carrier he got much better. I just took him on shorter rides and progressed to longer ones.
Now he usually just sleeps in the car in his carrier.
On long car rides he understandably has a CRAZY amount of energy once we get to our destination, but in the car he's great.
