Oh yeah, I should have made that clearer. I pay for everything - part-time work. I have never asked them to pay for anything. They don't even really support me anymore (this is the last year of my studies). My dad refused to pay for my last year of studies, so I have a loan.
The financial aspect of having a dog doesn't affect them at all.
