Also house training has been going well for him in terms of going outside. But it's been raining nonstop in NY for a while and winter is comming. I'm trying to train him on the wee wee pad, this is no good as he'll by chance go on the pad or pee on the carpet or look at me and whine to go out. What's a good solution/training method for this?

I dont know it might be a little harder trying to teach him to go to a peepad if he wasent taught while he was younger. He so use to going out that he thinks thats what hes suspose to do. maybe if you put the pad beside the door.
