Roxie has done this too. Not sure what it is about those things but I have to make sure they are put up and out of sight. She never got sick from it. I went to put my hair up and discovered the clip was all chewed up. She's chewed up her own too. I take it out of her hair at bedtime and set it on my nightstand and she reached over and grabbed it I guess and demolished it. There was a bully stick there too but she chose the clip
