Wow! He needs to make this right.
Bernie's surgeon left a sponge inside. When he started to bleed from his hip (months after the surgery) and my vet found the sponge during an exploratory surgery (to find out the cause of the bleeding), the surgeons office not only issued me an apology, but they covered the entire cost of the the exploratory surgery. No questions asked.
Perhaps your vet asked a staff member to follow up and pay the fee and the staff is to blame... |
