I am so sorry to hear that you have to make this decision. I know that is very hard to do. I agree with those before me who wanted to be there for their little ones. We were there this past January with our little girl as she left us. We kept holding her and telling her how much we loved her. Her brother spent a few weeks avoiding me completely and I think it was showing me he was mad at me for taking his sister away from him like that. I carried her out to the car that morning. He walked around lost until we brought his little brother home.

Having a playmate is good for them but not until you feel you are ready to share your heart again.
