My sisters dog found a litter of kittens in her garage. He killed one of them and injured another leaving 4 kittens. The injured one passed away but she bottle fed the remaining litter. She had a friend take two in and the other she had at her house. Anywho, my sisters son and her husband are very allergic so I told her I would take the kitten until the kitten finds a home.Now I am such a dog person and want to make sure she is comfy. My BF keeps laughing because I expect her to lick my face like a puppy.
Now what do I do? The kitten is eatting soft food and is very active. My sister allowed her access to th house and was training her to a pee pad. So I brought her home last night and fed her some food,
how much do I feed her and how often? I have just been giving her food as she wants but she has a big belly and has yet to go poo since last night. I'm I feeding her too much? Should I get some kitty litter? Also right now I put her in a xpen with a soft sided carrier and a snuggle sac, any other ways to keep her comfy? Any advice would be appreciated. I have never had a cat let alone a kitten and this feels very different. PS I have no clue how old she is, but my sister said she has had her only a few weeks. My BF seems to think she is less then 5-6 weeks old?
