Default Time away

We have for the past six years travelled somewhere warm in winter for 2 weeks. I found a kennel right near our vet where they were kept indoors but could go out if they wanted in a large seperated room but could go into large exercise room with big screen tv and fireplace. This year it was a disaster. Both my dogs ages 17 years pinned for us and got sick there. They spent 8 days of the 14 going in and out of vets, they were very ill. I was contacted at the resort I was staying at by my family who were emerg. contacts. When I got home they were still ill but picked up when they came home. My male bear has now passed on to Rainbow land. I will never kennel my dogs again, If I can't find family to care for them I will not go!
