I agree that it should be classified as abuse. These parents have so much junk food in the house, the one mom padlocked the cupboards, but why should you padlock something if there is healthy food in there, ya know??
You can't expect a 3yr old to just *know* they only want sausage and grits? Please. That is purely from the parents. The one grandmother kept feeding the little girl SO MUCH JUNK "so she knows I still love her"
