I was wondering if anyone has advice of comforting a yorkie when a loved one has passed away. His brother and sister, both cocker spaniels, are elderly and ill. I made the tough decision to have them euthanized this weekend. At their age, I didn't feel confident in getting them treatment.
Right now I'm contemplating if I can handle staying in the room in their last moments, how to tell Rico. Any ideas? The closer it gets, the more emotional I feel. Thankfully, I'm able to hide it when I'm around them. I'm just giving Duke and Brandy attention before they go. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks.
