Breeding dates have NOTHING-NILCH-NADA to do with whelping dates. Puppies are born right around 63 days from ovulation, not breeding. You don't know when your bitch ovulated for sure unless you did progesterone or LH surge testing, which I am guessing was not done.
Those were my exact thoughts. I started to post that yesterday but realized this thread was started on 12/07/08. Sadly I have had pups delivered a week early and they had no hair and their lungs were not developed.
