Well, tomorrow, Gellica is scheduled for her spay. We have been so torn with this decision, but we know this is for the best. She is such a great Mommy - it just comes so natural to her, but because of her bout with Eclampsia two weeks after she delivered (October 2007) we decided to have her fixed. Then, her last heat (October 2008) she developed Pyometra (uterine infection) and we just can't put her through anymore. So, tomorrow is the big day, but we are just so darn nervous!! Missy just had her spay yesterday, so I COMPLETELY understand how you feel right now. We will be sending all of our prayers and positive thoughts your way that the surgery goes without a hitch and she has a speedy recovery.
