In my recent memory, out of all the well known breeder/exhibitors I've never heard them address themselves as a show breeder. As I said most of the time they breed for themselves and keep the best in their breeding program. That is unless you're lucky enough to have found a wonderful mentor that has entrusted you their line.

i have found myself breeding very little and really looking at what i do breed and really studing the bred and if i like what i have produced or not and because i want to keep them longer i am breeding less
