I can imagine you're not sleeping very well just yet. I put Calleigh in a crate right next to my bed and she never barked at all even the first night. That's probably not the norm. I also put a small clock and a stuffed animal in with her. You may want to try that. I think if you are yelling at him or speaking in a harsh voice it may tend to make him nervous. Then you'll have a whole other set of problems. I hope it all works out fine for you. They are worth it.
