I'm so sorry you are having these difficulties, but I'm sure it will get better...My Apple also did well in a gated kitchen w/pads at one end, food and water in the middle, and toys and bed at the other...It's only 4' X10'...But the MOST important thing, is no matter how much she cries at night, if you are sure she is not in pain or injured, don't go to her...I followed my vets advice w/this, and the 3rd night she was good to go...Now, no matter when I need her in the kitchen, she does fine...All the Best To You, and hang in there...Ya'll will both get it soon
