Thank you all. We just received word that his ashes are at the vet. I've got two of my other babies ashes as well...we could never decide exactly what to do with them...
I think it's time to set them all free. We're heading out to a beautiful park this weekend that was a favorite spot for all of us and setting their ashes free. There's a hilltop there that overlooks the lake and fields where they loved to play. As life has continued, we've realized that although we spent countless hours there with Fritz, Shelby and Kirby (may they all be playing together at the rainbow bridge) we've never even been there with Ginger and Bernie. It seems like the perfect place as all of our memories of the park include those three.
In a few weeks we'll head out again with G & B and create some new memories...
We'll never forget our first furfamily, they will live in our hearts forever. |
