I have to tell you that I had a lump in my throat and my hands were shaking when I made the phone call to Corrine. We both cried for little Teagan! I just know he is going to be able to walk NO RUN!!!!! He has to~he has been through SOOOO much in his short little life. Everyone here on YT has said so many prayers for him and all of the well wishes! He will be scheduled very soon~within the next day or two for his surgery! It will be a long road for this little guy but I know in the end it will all be worth it that I was able to get him into rescue and get him the surgery that he needed. The surgeon also said that he will be able to also address the AAI issue as well! He has feeling in all his legs and reflexes so that is a really great sign as well!

He should be put onto the YTNR website today or tomorrow. *I just checked and he is not up yet. They wanted to wait until they knew he would be a candidate for surgery. A lot of people have asked about donating to his rescue fund and as soon as he is on the site he will have a paypal. I also have an address as well if anyone wants to donate with a check. Just PM me and I will give you the information!

Here is the site again for everyone that has asked:

Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue Adoptions and Shop

I will tell you, that your call today not only brought tears of joy to my eyes, but when Rich came home, he was choked up & in tears, as well, when I told him the news.

This would never have happened if you hadn't intervened and called Marie and demanded that she turn him over!

You and I both realized, there was no way she was going to face my Vet after not telling him the truth.

I am still deeply upset that she did not surrender him when the ER Vet told her he needed to see a Neurosurgeon. It is beyond my comprehension that anyone would allow him to live so long, in such extreme pain. He would have had 100% chance of walking again, if surgery had been done right away.

But, I am very thankful that he has at least the 75% chance.

I know you won't take the credit, but I believe in giving credit where credit is due, and I say, Bravo, megansmoomma!!!!

Go Teagan!!!!!

Hugs & Prayers,
Sheila
