We also have 2 other yorkies 4mths. old they weigh 3 lbs. Daisy is very active and playful and eats good. I feed them Natural Balance. She is the boss and lets them have it when she doesn't want to play. My question is has anyone had one that small at that age. If so, how old are they and how much do they weigh now? I have pictures of Daisy in my album. |
My Jeter is a tiny guy. His Breeder had estimated his adult weight to be 4 pounds to 4 1/2 pounds. Jeter just seemed to grow real slow and he took forever to gain any weight. When he was 18 weeks old he was 1 pound 4 ounces and then 2 weeks latter he was 1 pound 14 ounces, we like to say that was his growth spurt!! He is going to be 19 months old and weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces. He has not had any health issues and has just gotten a clean bill of health from his vet. My vet has commented a few times that Jeter is the smallest ADULT Yorkie that he treats in his office.
