So, you aren't sure if you are getting her, or you are getting her? If you are deciding still, you could
call your own vet and give them the scinerio so you know what your looking at as far as what you may be in for, it sounds like your smart enough to do what's right by the dog, or at least you understand that that size is unacceptable to keep w/ male dogs.
I think a better home for her would be a good start for this little one.
