I agree, you should go back to the breeder and make sure they know you did not get what you paid for, and I would also call the AKC and find out if there is anything you can do. From what I understand, the DNA test they do is to verify that the Sire and Dam recorded on the litter application are actually the Sire and Dam of the puppy. They just use markers from the parents' DNA and do not do a test to determine the "breed" of the dog. Based on your test results, it is entirely possible that the parents recorded on the application are the actual parents, but that one of the parents is 1/2 chi. So, I'd jsut call and see what you can do. |
