I'd like to say Hello ... since I've been reading all the posts for a bit ... hope that doesn't make ya feel spyed on, LOL. I had decided to add a yorkie to our family and wanted to know as much about the breed as I could so I joined yorkietalk and learned. Thank you all.
I am happy to say Leo now owns me ... LOL. I say that because when I walked into the house with all the pups and the other yorkies wondering everywhere his mommy came to me and loved on me a minute then ran to him and brought him to me and he decided I was his.
I know that I read that yorkies shouldn't leave their moms til they are around 12 weeks. He is only 8 weeks
I do have a 3 year old female sheltie that is loving and gentle and she is dealing very well with him. Will that be enough of doggy interaction? I plan on obedience classes as soon as his shots are completed.
I want to be the best Momma I can be ... any advice would be welcomed
