my sheltie was taken back from his breeder because he was being beaten by his owners.. I adopted him from her...

paid for my toy poodle and my beagle.  | Technically, only your cats are rescues. Getting one from a breeder and one from a friend isn't what people consider rescues... or else "saving" a puppy from a petstore would be one, too!
