QuickSilver, how do I make a dog to go time out?
If one of mine are being bad I say "go to your room" in a stern voice. Their room is our laundry room (its large enough to have both their beds, puppy pad (if needed) and lots of toys and a lot of their stuff). "Go to your room" means time-out which is different from "go to your bed" because that is for bedtime. I know that you aren't supposed to put them in time out the same place they sleep (crate) but I don't use a crate and I really do think they understand the two different phrases b/c their faces are priceless when they are in time out. I baby gate them in our laundry room at nights for bedtime and they obviously know its not time out.

haha the first picture is time out time and the second is bed time.
