 A question RE nursing mommy
My 4 puppies are going to be 3 weeks old and mom is doing a great job with them, but my question is .. they still seem to be hungry when she is done nursing. They have been gaining consistantly an ounce a day but act starving even when they finish nursing. I can't seem to get mom to drink very much and I wonder if she is producing enough milk. Is there anything liquid besides water I can try giving her to get her to drink more ?? Is it normal for the puppies to still seem hungry when they are finished ? Is milk bad for her ? |
