Vultures wings bend up more like a V when they fly around and usually you'll see more then one at a time. Hawks fly with wings straight out and like a glider. Plus a vulture will look black and ratty. Hope this helps. My husbands a falconer so I know alot of the different hawks by site after all of these years and I know what a vulture looks like.
