On the right side next to SC it says "No information in state laws about age of initial vaccination or how often vaccinations must be administered." The check mark in the "Dogs" box means there are laws pertaining to Dogs being rabies vaccinated, but apparently the laws don't mandate initial age or how often....just that dogs must be vaccinated. The first page also says that of the states with regulations, the author didn't find any that didn't require vaccination. Hawaii, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming all appear to not have any STATE regulations, but instead leave those regulations up to the county/city ordinances, which have to be followed. Also, most states that have a state regulation will defer to the county/city regulations IF the county/city regulation is more stringent than the state regulations. Pretty interesting how different the issue is handled from 1 state to the next....
