I think I remember asking the breeders about this and having labs run when I checked my puppies our for health reasons, but that's water under the bridge anyway. I had someone tell me yesterday that a sad event happened to her and she literally felt her heart hurt. You have many, many hearts hurting for your little one but as you also have read, there are success stories as well.
