I've been with my boyfriend for going on a year. Just last night we were flirting like old times. I've learned so much from him. we've lived together basically since day one. we've only been apart for maybe a total of two or three weeks out of the time we've been dating. I'm his first girlfriend. so I've got to set the standard, but If I play my cards right, maybe I won't have to worry about "setting the standard"

I'm used to supporting my boyfriends or them going behind my back and doing something. but It's different with John, He's nice and tells me I'm beautiful every morning, and although he's not romantic, he does surprise me from time to time. at first I wasn't used to it, and we would fight constantly (I was very insecure, after being treated crappy from all my other experiences) but I've overcome those, and still am working to overcome some. who knows, anything's possible. I think the main thing with dating is you find someone you like and makes you comfortable and you make it work regardless of what goes on.
