Oh Carol I'm really sorry that happened.
I know your feelings were hurt more than your hand. Tucker snapped at me once a year or so ago. I was just petting him, and apparently he didn't feel like being petted, and he snapped his big old mouth at me! If I hadn't moved my hand as fast I did I know he would've bit me. I freaked out and locked him in the bathroom for a little bit. Scared me half to death and my feelings were hurt for a couple days.
I'm sorry that happened. Im sury Buddy feels bad. What someone said about dogs getting headaches...I'd never thought about that before. I know I get testy sometimes, so I can imagine they do also!
