If it was me I would take him into the vet and have it checked out to make sure exactly where it is located. Although....I did get a replacement puppy from a breeder that was found to have a pop in her hock. Our vet told us that they see this a LOT from puppies that were crated most of their puppyhood. They stated nothing to be worried about and exercise would be the best medicine.
