A lady I know was told by her vet that the pups would be big so she scheduled a c-section and the pups turned out to be small and the female would have been able to deliver them normally. This same lady did a scheduled c-section on another bitch and the vet took them too early and the pups died.

My personally opinion is that I would never do a scheduled c-section but I would make sure I had a vet available in case a c-section was necessary.

Whether you have one pup or 6 pups, I feel that you got the services of the ladies stud and it resulted in a pregnancy. Whether it was in inside tie or outside tie should not have anything to do with it. On the few rare occasions I have studded out my male I charged a $300 stud fee, regardless of the number of pups.

Also, it is possible she could have the pup a little sooner than you think. I have had singleton pups come on day 59 and 60 but I have also had one come on day 70 from the first breeding.

I pray everyone goes well with the whelping. Please keep us posted.
I have had 5 singletons and only one c section out of the 5.
On the xrays they do look big they have the horn all to themselves to stretch out in.
I have had a puppy look huge in the xray to turn out to be a normal 4 oz puppy
