yep, i use a postal scale (it goes up to 35lbs) and it weighs in pounds and ounces (ounces to the tenth so miss buffey weighs 3lbs, 10.3oz)

i also use a box and reset the scale to zero with the box on. it is VERY accurate. i used it a lot for bree when i first got her because the little squirt was about 1lb, 5 oz and i wanted to make sure she was gaining at least a little weight every day

i think i got it on ebay for about $35? it was so long ago i forgot but i know it was not over $35
