Congratulations on your new baby!! Baxter came to us at 7 weeks old. He has a serious attachment to me. My husband calls him my tick! He is ok when I leave him with my sister but I left him with my mother the other day for 5 minutes and she said he "screamed" the whole time. He is now 16months old. I don't know what to offer about the separation anxiety. I have tried the leaving and coming back. Didn't work. Overall Baxter is a happy little boy. I hope your new baby will adjust soon. Also - 7-9 months old was the worst time I had with Baxter. He went through the terrible 2s then. He is much better now. That may be part of the problem also. |
