Mine are in puppy cuts. I have time to groom them but with the short cuts we just stick to faces and teeth every day and baths once a week. Both of them have very thick coats so the short hair makes drying time easier too. I didn't just shave them though - Loki has a very specific cut for his face and we don't shave his nose. Sammy keeps her beautiful topknot - luckily it's the only silky part of her hair and OK to manage. Strangers know they are Yorkies right away and I actually think it gives them more character since they both have unique cuts
