I think she'll heal. I would first try putting some broth in a saucer with just a little bit of ground meat and work from there. I'll bet that would work. Homemade broth is much better tasting to them. They don't go for canned stuff when they're not feeling well. You have to grab the taste buds first to get them really interested and really wanting to try to eat. I'm sure she becomes frustrated trying to chew, but if there isn't a lot to chew she may be more interested.
