Ring them & ask if they know of anyone in their society with puppies due. Even if you find they're all sold, once you're on the breeders grapevine you'll get given numbers of other people with ones on the way or planned, or someone who's used their stud dog.

I breed a different breed, not my Yorkies, & all the people who've bought my puppies over the years have found me this way. I've never, ever had to resort to advertising, in fact I've usually had a waiting list.

Many thanks, Maggie, I'm back to see the pups on Thursday and will be asking some more questions. I think I'll trust my initial thoughts if all goes well. Indeed, the lady that I am returning to never advertises.
