Yup, she needs a puppy food. Another thing to consider (don't get mad at me here) is that 8 weeks for a yorkie is very young to bring her home. The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America finds it unethical for a breeder to send a yorkie home under 12 weeks of age. Even though the puppy is usually weaned at that time, they are soooo tiny, the risk of hypoglycemia (and often death) are HUGE. If you could at least wait another two weeks, you would be bringing home a much healthier, stable and better socialized puppy.

Just something to consider, but you really should research all you can about small breed puppies and how scary they can be at such a young age.
