Mya had this surgery about 2 months ago, and then 2 weeks ago he had to go back in because the bone splintered...and neither time she did scream in pain...I would call you vet and tell him the medicine isn't working as well as it should be.

When I thought Mya was uncomfortable or in pain I would put a heating pad under a blanket on her bed and have her lay on it...it seemed to be VERY comforting and she would fall asleep so fast....

It is a journey, but these pups are troopers...Mya has been through hell before even being a year old...and she is happy as a clam on 3 legs she is slowly starting to use her leg finally...but it is a process...
