Here is one other whelping box that I had my husband make. This one is just 8" high and 25" square. I had my husband put the posts on the side so I can put a sheet over it to create more of a den. I just attach the sheet to the posts with heavy rubber bands. I have one female that get horrified during thunderstorms so I had it build for her so she would feel more save. In this picture the sheet is not attached. You can see how the bedding is laid out and the box just sits on top. This box is not as easy to store when not in use because of the posts. The others can be stood on their ends when not in use and they make a good shelf. Also the other boxes are 12" high but if you make them shorter you don't need the entrance cutout. |
