Hi, I'm Tonia...welcome...here are my 2 cents on your questions.
I only know about neutering since I have 2 males. My vet says as soon as testicles descend. My older male was 4 months, my younger one is getting it done at 4 months too although it could have happened earlier since he seemed to "mature" quicker..neither have hiked their legs yet and hope to keep it that way.
My yorkies are small (4 lbs and 2 lbs) and they get cold...although they sure are cute with a tshirt on!
I'm pee pad training...one is easy, one is not!
My dogs are free fed...I have no fears of them being overweight at this point!
