That one took him longer. I would say "bang bang" and do the gun motion with my hand and then sort of push him over so he was on his side. I kept repeating this and repeating this. He soon learned he did NOT like being pushed over so whenever I would say "bang bang" he used to jump back away from me! He did that for a good 2 weeks or so before finally realizing "OH she wants me to fall over like that on my own!" lol. It took a lot of patience. I would do it every night basically or every other night for about 3 weeks until one night it finally just clicked! He was pretty corporative with me pushing him over though. The thing that took the longest really was getting him to be in a lay down position and fall over by himself. For about a week, he would just stay positioned on his back when I said "bang bang" but he would never fall over himself, if ya know what I mean. lol.
I taught him "down" first because that makes the trick easier.
