Yeah, her surgeon told me today on the phone that plain boiled chicken and rice is actually perfect for her to eat right now, and that is what she is eating well...thank God. I am just so glad that she is loving something that is actually GOOD for her to eat at the moment...cause she is just NOT having the dog food thing right now I did get her to eat 3 little kibbles, but that was it.

A scarf or another leash is helpful when getting them to walk. she may even like the extra support when trying to poop. she probably doesn't feel comfortable getting into the pooping position so some like a little help.

I am definitely going to ask her surgeon about this...thanks girl....now I just have to find an old scarf, I know I have to have one around here somewhere lol...

It really does sound like you are doing a great job. Your surgeon sounds excellent too! i LOVE his discharge instructions! he isn't old school about it and totally knows what he is doing. great to hear it. i love that he told you to do the 3 walks a day and passive range of motion exercises. so many lp stories i read here don't allow this and have the dog in casts and that's really not the way to go now a days.

I know...they were awesome and so is HE! I just love love love him. He is soo nice too...even today when I talked to him on the phone, he told me to call back any time day or night with whatever I need. He's just the best!

P.S. - Yes, she was super spoiled before and boy you should see her now LOL. She is working hubby and us..well, like DOGS lol! We would walk through fire for her though...she is our little princess!
