If the only place to get a dog from was a backyard breeder or a puppy mill, than none of us in this forum would ever buy a puppy!!!!! PERIOD.

My cute little dogs came from REPUTABLE SHOW BREEDERS, who took the time to research their lines and spend their time and hard earned money to show their dogs to confirm they were breed worthy.
I don't suppose you understand that there is a standard to be met and kept.
They haven't made a living off the backs of their dogs, rather they're always in the red, because they're doing it right!
Your FRIEND Gloria's dogs live in 2 X 2 cages. If you were really her friend, you'd teach her that it is inhumane!!!!
Advise her to get a REAL job.
